Yesterday, in a store, I picked up a bar of Neutrogena. The scent is subtle but particular and brings me back to another time... when I had more room for me in my head. And so I bought it.
It's near a sink I use a lot and, for now, stands upright on its red glass dish, a sentinel, a reminder.

Yay, you. It's the little things that help us along.
When I get back to the US, I am going to do a running stage dive into the Neutrogena section of the skin care aisle. I miss that stuff.
