Reflection

It's vital that I be honest with myself, a necessary step before I can be honest with you. I will admit I've been in a quandary for the past few days to the extent that I've had to do some deep reflection. This volatile issue of late has sparked my own questions about art and satire, racism, free speech, and rights.

I want you to know that I'm not sidestepping an answer. I take all of this so seriously as to drive myself a bit mad. Your comments have been appreciated and, for the most part, have not been news since there are points that only amplified some of the thoughts that have been knocking around in my mind.

Thank you for challenging me and providing more material for my internal debate that was already in progress. I'm trying to see my way clear to real answers and I promise to corral these thoughts into a post.

keep it going, within you and outwith you, because my informal gleens from various sites has that list of topics as the hotbeds under many peoples' sleepless knights
